FilPonto is a Filecoin ecosystem public-goods initiative that coordinates infrastructure support, developer tooling, and rapid-response integration grants to strengthen network reliability and builder adoption.

FilPonto is a Filecoin public-goods coordination cell that funds and maintains connective infrastructure, developer tooling, grants advisory and Filecoin partner integration work. In Batch 3, FilPonto will sustain its Technical Project Management and Technical Support functions — a coordination layer that keeps cross-team infrastructure moving — while aiming to deliver targeted builds across grants administration, chain data alternatives, and storage and data transfer software. Specifically, FilPonto will (1) continue its ecosystem technical support and coordination function across infra providers and software teams for another 6 months, (2) administer a discretionary grants pool and broader ecosystem-support workstream — including public-goods project inventory and health-criteria, due-diligence reviews of Filecoin DeFi integrations, and negotiation of external contractor engagements — (3) replace fragile pre-DDO data sources with a comprehensive sector/deal oracle and harden the realtime feeds network monitoring depends on, and (4) port Curio's cuzk 10x Snark API improvements into Lotus Miner to improve storage-provider operability. This addresses a structural gap: much of Filecoin's monitoring and grants/ecosystem-support infrastructure depends on legacy pipelines, missing frameworks, and uncoordinated point solutions with no clear owner. FilPonto directly serves builders and their users, network-infrastructure operators, storage providers, and pods.

Output: - maintained coordination capacity (TPM + TSE); - a sector/deal oracle plus hardened monitoring data; improved SP software (Cuzk → Lotus Miner); - an active discretionary grants pool for smaller ecosystem integration and maintenance needs; - a public-goods project inventory and health-criteria framework; - a DeFi due-diligence review process for Filecoin stablecoin/DeFi integrations. Outcome: - smaller, time-sensitive ecosystem needs get funded quickly instead of stalling for lack of an owner; - funders and contributors gain a shared reference for assessing project health and coverage gaps across the ecosystem; - Filecoin DeFi and stablecoin integrations receive independent infrastructure/security review before wider adoption; - network monitoring stops depending on deprecated pre-DDO pipelines; - storage providers run more operable software. Impact: - a more reliable, observable, and economically functional network — directly supporting paid onchain activity and storage-provider profitability, which is what Objectives 1–3 measure.

- FilOz and FF Security coordination dependency for the network monitoring dashboard inventory and realtime data-source work; mitigated by early data gathering from FilOz and front-loading the inventory in M1. - SP adoption of cuzk/Lotus Miner changes — improvements are upstreamed, but provider uptake is outside FilPonto's control. - Independent Contributor availability for specialized work; mitigated by FilPonto's coordination layer reallocating across workstreams. - Discretionary grants pipeline and DeFi due-diligence scope depend on ecosystem demand and third-party responsiveness; mitigated by FilPonto's coordination layer surfacing needs early and setting a rolling review cadence.
